SET-UP

The list of parts, schematics and guidelines for the set-up are made freely available on the Google Website. After assembling all of the parts, a mobile phone can be placed in the back of the device and held rigidly by the selected fastening device to begin using the functions of the headset.

Split Screen App

Google Cardboard features a compatible app which splits the screen for each eye. At the same time, the application applies a barrel distortion to each image to counter pincushion distort from the lenses, which leads to a really wide view with stereoscopic image.
